TurboScrum.com exists to offer best in class Scrum training for individuals and organizations.
Using Scrum, it is possible to deliver more value, improve your work life and remain competitive in a fast changing world.
About the Turbo Scrum Blog
The blog focuses exclusively on my signature training course, Turbo Scrum. My experience of teaching both Professional Scrum and Scaled Professional Scrum showed me that there was a large gap between these two offerings and so Turbo Scrum was created to fill that gap.
The fundamental reason for wanting to scale Scrum is to achieve greater productivity. Turbo Scrum details techniques that you can use to increase the productivity of your single Scrum team BEFORE you scale. This saves you time. It saves you money. And it also keeps your world less complicated.
You’ll find the blog expands weekly with more and more techniques being added over time.
My name is Derek Davidson. I’m a Professional Scrum Trainer with Scrum.org, the scrum organization created by scrum co-creator, Ken Schwaber.
I have been involved in software for many years and was one of the first people to become enthused by the seminal work “Extreme Programming, Embrace Change” by Kent Beck.
In 2000, I had the chance to implement “Extreme Programming” and grabbed the opportunity. From that day forward, I have remained convinced that agile software development is the best way for software organizations to improve. Improve their products. Improve their work place. Improve their longevity in a fast changing world.
In my spare time, I enjoy DIY and computer gaming. I’m also re-discovering my love of cars.
